La Tania Guide Hire
La Tania Guide
La Tania is found in the Three Valleys area of France and is one of the smaller resorts. It was built for the 1992 Albertville Winer Olympics and sites at around 1400m. Since then it has remained a popular place for off piste skiing and snowboarding. Being connected to the extensive lift system of the Three Valleys gives you access to the 600km of skiing available across Meribel, Courchevel and Val Thorens. The area around La Tania specifically will suit beginners and intermediates and there are plenty of connected areas to explore but advanced skiers can often find powder stashes on the north east facing slopes on the couloirs off the Col de la Loze as well as all the other accessible regions around the Three Valleys
Hire a guide in La Tania
If you’re looking to explore the off-piste or ski touring possibilities in La Tania then you’ll be looking to head more towards the Meribel and Courchevel areas. There is plenty of off-piste skiing available but we advise you to hire a ski guide in La Tania who knows the local region and conditions if you don’t have the ability or simply the confidence to safely explore the area. Qualified mountain guides can show you the hidden powder traps away from the pistes whilst taking into consideration the ever changing conditions. If there are no available mountain guides for hire above, then contacting the Trois Vallees tourist board or guide bureau will be the most sensible option.
